Six years ago we opened up AlDa Aesthetics and we are so proud of our journey and thankful to our loyal and lovely patients. While we’ve gotten to know so many of you personally over this time period, we realized it was time to tell our story to you. (Oh, and scroll down to see how we’re celebrating: We think you’re gonna like it.)
Alyssa and Dana had both been establishing their prowess in the aesthetics and beauty industry prior to opening AlDa. However, despite their tenacity and overlapping industry experience, it wasn’t until they were introduced by a mutual colleague who had a knack for professional match-making.
Dana was working at the Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics in the North Shore, while Alyssa was working at Boston Children’s Hospital as a charge nurse and emerging as a star aesthetic injector at a local Cosmetic Surgery practice. However, life circumstances (falling in love with her “happy-ever-after”) led Dana to head south, and the introduction was made.
The pair hit it off, with their mutual love for helping patients and watching them leave with a smile cementing their bond. The pair decided it was time to take a leap of faith and open an aesthetics business of their own. While the pair may have different backgrounds (Alyssa working in nursing, and Dana, an esthetician) their strengths build one another up and complement each other. Together, they breathe life into AlDa.
Not every risk pays off, but if it’s the right one, it’s worth taking. As a women-owned and women-run business, we pride ourselves on the hard work and moxie that led us to run a successful business together. The unique and dynamic team we’ve curated over the years supports our credo of women supporting women. Our services and team may have grown, but our approach has remained the same: We value community over competition.
That same principle bleeds into how we treat our patients. We promise to always uplift, listen, and inspire. As we grow, we grow with support and kindness. We’re always open to your feedback and suggestions.
But in the meantime, we have big dreams for the future. In the coming years, we plan to grow and expand the team, evolving our expertise and staying on top of the latest technology.
