Cosmetic treatments are constantly evolving as our tech advances, and we discover new, more efficient methods to treat aesthetic concerns. One of the biggest game changers in the industry was the introduction and inclusion of lasers.
Since their inception, they’ve become a staple in the esthetic industry, treating a multitude of issues, such as rosacea and sun damage, to name a few. Like anything worth understanding, there’s nuance in the way specific lasers work and the specialties around what they’re able to treat.
Two of our latest and greatest machines are all from Sciton: the Moxi, the BBL Hero. We are ecstatic to announce our collaboration with another titan in the industry to further provide groundbreaking treatments here at AlDa. In our latest podcast, we were privileged to have a sit-down with Michelle Doran, Co-Founder of RN Esthetics. During this session, we conducted an “Ask The Expert Hour” segment. This coincides with the imminent unveiling of our cutting-edge Moxi/BBL Hero technology at AlDa, where Michelle will share insights about the technology, its numerous benefits, and her patients’ transformations.

Here’s everything you need to know about these revolutionary lasers and the experts leading the charge in delivering the best results this industry has ever seen.
MOXI is Perfect for the First-timer
As a non-ablative laser (which means it does not remove the outer layers of the skin), Moxi delivers controlled laser energy to the deeper layers of the skin without damaging the surface, promoting collagen production and skin rejuvenation.
It’s gentle without much downtime but still packs a punch when it comes to results. It’s a great option for those looking to tip-toe into lasers and who are looking to address concerns such as fine lines, mild wrinkles, uneven skin tone, and mild sun damage. Moxi can even improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of pores, and enhance overall skin quality.
BBL HERO is Ideal for Unwanted Pigmentation
BBL, which stands for Broad Band Light, is a laser procedure that utilizes intense pulsed light (IPL) technology to deliver various wavelengths of light energy to the skin. The BBL Hero device emits a broad range of wavelengths of light that can be adjusted to target different color-absorbing molecules in the skin, like melanin (for pigment) and hemoglobin (for vascular).
This treatment most effectively treats pigmentation issues, redness, sun damage, and vascular lesions because of its unique properties.
Still, while we can sing the praises of machines every day, it’s the people who study and learn how to safely and effectively use them who should be celebrated. That is why we are so excited to be collaborating with Michelle Doran. With advanced training in lasers and a passion for teaching, she is and continues to be a tremendous educational resource for us and the industry as a whole. It’s essential to learn from one another in the industry, and our collective goal is to help the community thrive and exude confidence.
We’re lucky to have peers like Michelle, and we’re so excited to use our new skills to help you reach your aesthetic goals at AlDa! Give us a call and experience the difference: (781) 826-5400.
