The best injectable is undetectable

Dermal fillers are gel-like substances injected under the skin.

In the hands of an experienced injector, dermal fillers are one of the most powerful aesthetics tools for maintaining a youthful yet natural appearance over time.

Fillers are incredibly versatile, and our patients use them to:

  • Minimize the appearance of facial wrinkles
  • Minimize scarring
  • Plump thinning lips
  • Define and contour the cheeks, jawline, or chin
  • Look refreshed in a subtle way
  • Restore age-related volume loss
  • Reduce skin sagging and jowling
  • Achieve overall harmony and symmetry within the face

ALDA Aesthetics carries a robust portfolio of hyaluronic acid fillers, including JUVÉDERM®, Restylane, RHA®, and SkinVive products.

Our Most Popular Filler Treatments

Full Facial Balancing

If your goal is to look like you – only better – then facial rebalancing is the treatment you’re looking for.

Subtle touches of dermal fillers across the face are the key to maintaining a symmetrical and youthful appearance without looking overfilled or unnatural.

Wrinkle Reduction

As we age, we naturally lose volume in areas of the face that provide structural support to the skin.

By strategically restoring the face’s natural structure with dermal filler, we can effectively reverse wrinkles, sagging, or jowling in those areas.

Lip Filler

Lip injections are a popular treatment for patients who desire a plump pout.

Jawline Filler

Age-related volume loss often occurs along the jawline, leading to jowling or a poorly-defined jaw.

To restore balance to the face, we strategically inject JUVÉDERM® VOLUX™, a new FDA dermal filler specifically formulated to address moderate to severe loss of jawline definition.

Skinvive

SkinVive is like skincare in a syringe: it’s a hyaluronic acid (HA) microdroplet injectable that enhances the skin’s natural glow without adding volume to the face.

While most fillers are designed to hold their shape, SkinVive is actually meant to absorb into the skin, boosting the skin’s moisture reserves from within.

SkinVive is a very effective treatment for fine lines, mild wrinkles, dehydration, and dullness.
We also frequently use SkinVive to precondition skin before laser treatments to achieve maximum glowiness.

Frequently asked questions

You can expect to see immediate results from your Juvederm or Restylane treatment.

Depending on your product choice and treatment area, those results should last from six months to two years.

However, each patient is unique, and the length of your results will depend on how quickly your body metabolizes the product. Individual results will vary, and we cannot guarantee that your body will adhere to these timelines exactly.

All dermal fillers eventually leave the system and touch-up treatments are recommended.

Expect to see immediate results that last for six months to two years, depending on product choice.

Is Juvederm better than Botox? Is Restylane better than Botox?

The truth is that dermal fillers (like Juvederm and Restylane) are entirely different treatments than neurotoxins (like Botox or Dysport).

Dermal fillers are injected under the skin to smooth fine lines, restore age-related volume loss, or add structure to the face.

Neurotoxins like Botox are injected into specific muscles to relax them, reducing stress to the skin in order to prevent or minimize wrinkles.

While both treatments can help to balance the face and mitigate signs of aging, they do so in different ways.

We often use these two treatments in conjunction for the most effective results.

Yes!

All of the dermal fillers we use at ALDA are FDA-approved medications that have undergone rigorous safety testing.

Juvéderm® and Restylane are both FDA-approved fillers that have been used safely by dermatologists and plastic surgeons for decades.

All of ALDA’s injectors are licensed nurse practitioners (NPs) or registered nurses (RNs) with injection training, and personally mentored by ALDA’s founder, CEO, and lead injector, Alyssa D’Arcy, FNP-C CANS.

Alyssa is a trainer for Allergan Medical Institute®, where she educates injectors on best injection techniques and safety practices. Additionally, Alyssa is one of only a few Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialists (CANS) in the state of Massachusetts. CANS is the only certification available to injectors through a medical board in the United States.

Dermal filler injections can have side effects. The most commonly reported side effects are temporary redness and swelling at the injection site, but these effects typically resolve within 2-3 days.

Pros of Dermal Filler:

  • Can improve the appearance of facial lines and volume loss
  • Metabolize with time, and therefore aren’t permanent
  • Can be removed or reversed at any time using dissolver
  • Does not require surgery or significant downtime
  • Minimal pain

Cons of Dermal Filler:

  • Can cause temporary redness, swelling, bruising, or itching, which some patients may find stressful
  • Are not appropriate for people with bleeding disorders or certain allergies
  • Like any injectable substance, filler can be dangerous when injected by someone who is unlicensed or unqualified

At ALDA, we structure our pricing based on outcomes, rather than product quantity.

We care about providing our patients with fantastic results. When the syringe count becomes the focus, it can become difficult to give you the natural, youthful look you deserve.

But don’t worry: we will always be transparent with you about anticipated pricing so that you are never taken by surprise.

Dermal filler pricing starts at $850 per treatment.

Swelling, redness, discomfort, bruising, headache, tenderness, lump formation, and itching at the injection site are the most common side effects. They rarely last more than a few days.

Dermal filler is a great way to minimize the appearance of wrinkles.

Most patients can be treated in just 1-2 sessions. Once your initial treatments are complete, you can expect results to last for up to 15 months.

We recommend booking an annual appointment to assess your progress and touch up as needed.

Dermal filler is the most effective tool to contour or restore volume loss in the face.

Most patients require several injections across multiple sessions to achieve the most natural-looking outcome. Once your treatments are complete, you can expect results to last for up to 15 months.

Follow-up treatments can be scheduled to maintain your results once they begin to wear off. We recommend booking an annual appointment to assess your progress and touch up as needed.

The jawline plays a significant role in bringing harmony and balance to the face.

When a patient wishes to address a weak or undefined jawline, we use JUVÉDERM® VOLUX™ to add volume or definition to this area. JUVÉDERM® VOLUX™ is a new FDA dermal filler specifically formulated to address a loss of jawline volume or structure.

By placing filler along the jawline, we can improve its contours and size, and balance the rest of the face.
